Clucky and a little lucky

From chicken crazy to a career. I’ve been blessed to not only find my passion in life, but to be able to create unique art and keepsakes to brighten the lives of others.

How it started

It was on our first wedding anniversary, in 2011, Victor and I were in Shipshewana, which is where I saw a gentleman that had carved ostrich and emu eggs. His work was so amazing that the images stayed with me.

Fast forward several years, my office job was taking a toll on my soul, I needed a creative outlet.

Still thinking about the carvings...Did you know how expensive the large eggs are?

Too much so to learn a new craft on!  Luckily I was well into my chicken addiction,

I had plenty of eggs to learn on.

"The Girls" also known as the "Production Team". I started with 9 girls, then found I had an addiction- Chickens! We keep about 45 breeds and are ever expanding. Our mixed free-range flock provides us with an amazing egg selection of different sizes and colors. Because we treat them right, they offer us with strong healthy eggs.
